GHI Heat Treatment Line Launched for Lisi Automotive in Madrid

The new GHI line for hardening and tempering screws, located at Lisi Automotive’s Fuenlabrada facility, is now operational and delivering outstanding results.

Lisi Automotive, a global leader in high-value assembly solutions for the automotive sector, has relied on GHI’s expertise for over 20 years. This marks the second complete line that GHI has installed at this factory, which also houses other GHI furnaces.

“At GHI, we constantly innovate and challenge ourselves. This new line is the culmination of years of experience and research. It’s incredibly motivating for us that Lisi trusts us once again. This encourages us to keep pushing forward,” said Jose Berasategui, General Director of GHI.

The supplied equipment includes a high-temperature furnace, a low-temperature furnace, a tempering tank, and auxiliary systems such as the loading system and control elements, all designed and manufactured by GHI.

The automotive industry’s stringent demands and rigorous quality controls require components to have specific features like the absence of dents, uniform mechanical properties, structural homogeneity, and excellent surface finishing. With 80 years of experience and a strong capacity for technical innovation, GHI has developed this heat treatment line to fully meet and exceed these requirements.
