GHI to Supply High-Performance Aluminium Melting Plant to a Spanish Company

GHI Smart Furnaces has received an order from one of the largest aluminum coil processing plants in Spain to supply the main equipment for the melting and heat treatment processes as part of its plant expansion.

The project includes the installation of a 30-ton tilting rotary furnace, a 60-ton melting furnace, the revamping of two holding furnaces, and the coil annealing furnaces.

GHI’s scope of supply encompasses the design, engineering, manufacturing, commissioning, startup, and complete after-sales services. This project, featuring the most advanced technology, is designed to meet strict quality requirements and environmental regulations.

The aluminum coil plant will be integrated into the 4.0 industry with the Beyond Alea platform, a unique system that integrates the entire melting process, from optimal raw material selection to final product quality and equipment operation.

The relationship between GHI Smart Furnaces and the client began in 2014. GHI also supplied the existing melting, holding, and annealing furnaces, fostering a long-term partnership.

The customer, with over 35 years of experience in the aluminum sector, has implemented a continuous improvement program focused on expansion, quality, service, and environmental commitment, driving the company forward in recycled aluminum casting.
